It is the last day of the first month of the new year. I am not a good resolution maker, it doesn't seem to motivate me in any positive way and I find other vehicles to assist with my introspection and self awareness.
What has happened is that I found I have been yearning for some of what "blogging" gave to me. I also have several friends who have said they missed checking in and having the connection through the blog.
I started the blog to have a vehicle to communicate about my surgery for sleep apnea (roto-rooting my through and straightening my nose!) Talking was not easy and there were many people who were too far away for me to just sit down with. Blogging became my virtual living room. It was a romp for me and others into my internal landscape.
It is that which I am wanting to manifest again. Sharing of an incredible sunrise, the mixed emotions of the day, an act of reaching out as I attempt to go within.
I have a FB friend - we have reconnected after many years - I love how she talks on FB-"just saying" is something I read from her entries!
I am just saying, it is the dead of winter! The light in returning, I have mostly enjoyed this time of the year when there is so much that leads one into a more internal place, the noticing that there is something deep deep down that is alive, that is preparing for germination, that is totally whole, and full as it is - AND - it is preparing for yet another transformation.
Here's to the explorations of winter (and for my friends Jane and Lori - here's to your summer romp down under!). Oh what is it that we are each bringing forth, what is it that I want to manifest as we move through the cycle of this new year, and the seasons of the day!
