Gustaf and the RNC Planning Folks are in full swing!  My colleague Lolly,  granddaughter Myah and I were hustled out of the Guthrie yesterday after "Little House" - 2nd Street was being closed and when the Education Staff from the Guthrie annouced that the post show discussion with the cast would be a little shorter because the Guthrie would be closed for an RNC Host Party --- the boos were resounding --- she looked up at us and reminded us that SHE was not giving a political speech.   The city is buzzing - the police are doing raids to capture anarchists - and the creative juices are flying === check out the UnConvention site --- go to Walker Art Center -- if I was a slick blogger I could give you a direct link...hard not to be affected by a National Convention in your town, especially since it has been since 1892 - they served food outside in a makeshift tent and rivaled the "windy city" as the menu was only pork and beans.  So we have that history and 40 years ag

Holiday Weekend and I am at Day 1 of "officially" getting ready for surgery!  I have been doing my guided meditation, imagining my healing circle, and affirming my speedy and deep recovery.  Words, connections, thought, engagement, opening up  - these are things that matter to me -- so I am going to blog my way through this month of being well - deepening and strengthening my health.   So it is off to the Guthrie with Lolly and Myah - for "Little House"  - some farmer's marketing before and maybe an UnConvention activity before I leave for the hills of WI and away from RNC.  Thank you all for your  support and care.  I know it will help me on my journey! Still learning how to use my blog page - so you have two into entries--- I am leaving as this is ultimately my experiment with myself and all of you who come along. So this is day one of my pre-surgery plan.  I have read about the Alaskan Wildcard, smiled about the UnConvention Activities and looked at CodePink video getting ready for the RNC.  Lolly, Myah and I are going to the Guthrie to see Little House - and I am doing a little farmer's market before.  It is a great day - I am trying to remember to breath deeply and visualize my body healing from surgery in the best way possible!  I have all of you in my healing circle sending energy, well wishes and much more.  Who knows preparing for surgery and starting this blog may unleash all kinds of voices just ready to leap into the world.  Thanks for being there with me, MaryAlice
