We had a very good time. It was good tonic because both Cindy and Julie are awaiting the news of cabins, they are in the midst of the Tinder Fire, and it does not look good especially for Julie. This is all so poignant because we were all at the cabins last week. For you who saw the Elk, and read about our adventures that same place now is an inferno of flames, the firefighters are doing their best to save structures and redirect the fire, but it is at very little containment. Jaynie had spent the day on the picket line, #RedforEd, she is a special education teacher and it has been overwhelming the amount of support the schools are receiving and it is also very intense.
So having a good evening with lots of laughter and fun connecting was just what everyone needed. Now it is off to bed. Tomorrow morning Enterprise Rental picks me up bright and early and I am off to Tucson!
Another week has started only one more Monday in Arizona. I am looking forward to my new adventures and being with old friends while in Tucson! Good Monday. May the fires diminish, the animals and people be safe and may our teachers and students be supported well in getting a good education.
