Tuesday in Tucson

The day started with final check making sure I was packed and ready for my  pick up from Enterprise.  After a rather lengthy wait I was deposited in my small SUV and ready to start my journey south to Tucson.  I drove back to the condo, and had breakfast (finished off my quinoa poke bowl from last night) got my water and iced tea and headed down to car.  Set my GPS for a more scenic route south, that didn't quite work out, as I passed the exit that seemed like the own I should have taken, I looked down and the gps had me going 90+ miles on Interstate 10, so I got into the flow with the trucks, cars and a few motorcycles and just headed south.  The vista's and scenery were just fine, and I arrived in Tucson just in time for a little lunch.

My Casita on Helen Street is so sweet and I feel quite at home.  Made plans with  Kyle and Marcia for tonight (realized that a nap was in order) I had a sweet nap, and then took off for an early supper.

I had not met Marcia before and Kyle and I have not seen each other for a number of years,  we are FB friends, and have shared wonderful events and big grief over the years, and now we were going to be able to see each other.
Thanks Marcia for such a fun picture, and Kyle took a number of pics so maybe I will be able to get a pic of all three of us!  I was a fun wide ranging romp over decades.  You can see that we have some good fun and a good margarita.

We are getting up early tomorrow a.m. and off to the Sonora Desert Museum.  I am so looking forward to our morning in the desert.  Early to bed, early to rise.  The Desert delights await us in the morning.  Tuesday in Tucson.

AND ON A VERY GOOD NOTE BOTH CINDY AND JULIE'S CABINS ARE STANDING, SO FAR THEY ARE SAFE AND IT LOOKS REALLY REALLY GOOD THAT THEY WILL STAY STANDING.  The sad sad tragic news, the Tinder Fire started by an illegal fire.  Oh if only we could pay attention to how precious this earth really is......

Oh, lucky you! The Desert Museum is supposed to be really wonderful! I've visited Tucson twice but didn't have a chance to see the museum. Have a great time! And please pass on my love to those exquisite mountains.
Jody, I embraced those mountains, and sent well wishes all around. So glad you are following my adventures, blessings abound.
