Royal Wedding and Car Ride

The day started gray and cool.  Without the big sun rising in the east facing windows of my bedroom I slept a little later, but early enough to watch the live feed on NPR of the Royal Wedding.  Fairy tale touches modernity and amazing love, the wedding was a surprising event.  Fina and I spent a little time talking about the “mythic” moments and checked out the BBC.  It was a fun way to start the day and send me off on my back to Minnesota.

It was hard to leave, everything on the farm is inviting, easy and nurturing but after several rounds of goodbyes and big hugs I set off.

I made it home with a little over an hour before I had to set off for my Apple appointment.  I got a keyboard for my iPad and turned my computer over to be fixed.  We made sure that all my things on the computer were backed up, and we got all my photos from my iPhone —- they had stopped getting onto my computer, but that worked, and we figured out how those photos got to my iPad.  All good.  I handed over my computer and in 5-7 days the computer should be “good as new”....

Unfortunately here I am blogging and I still can’t figure out how to get to photos.  I need help and not quite sure where to get it...hopefully I will figure this out soon because I do want to put photos on my blog posts.

Home safely, computer dropped off, and then out to supper with Ginny at Gorka Palace, good Indian food and better company.

Only one more Saturday in Minnesota,  the next Saturday after that I will be on a plane in the morning heading back to Maine.

I am savoring each day,  each visit, all the time that I have with family and friends.  Tomorrow I get to be at the Minnesota Lynx first game of the season.  I get to see them get their championship rings and hopefully win their first game of the season.  They are playing LA, who they beat to be the champions.  It is going to be a fun day.

It is Saturday night,  I am tired and happy.  The next trip outside of the Twin Cities will be to Maine.  I am still on my adventure.  What a journey,
